Not that we’d want to leave it all up to AI, of course. It would still need our scrutiny and evaluation. But how does it scan the increasingly-crowded news landscape and boil things down for us?

Of course, we will always disclose exactly how and when we use ChatGPT or any other AI system and will will always fact-check what it produces. But there’s no reason not to avail ourselves — and our readers — of its astonishing capabilities.
